Werkraum Viessmann & Workshops

Get Involved

At the DMY the traditional company Viessmann, one of the market leader in heating systems, is kicking off their new unit „Werkraum“. „Werkraum“ is a Design Lab and a platform for creatives from different areas, such as UX, UI, graphic-, motion- and industrial design, who works on current design requirements and questions to create new concepts for the future. For four days the team invites guests into their open studio to discuss design relevant topics, work on unusual ways of ideation and investigate new strategies by combining different people, skills and opinions. By asking „What is the future for you?“ and „How do you want to work in the future?“ they try to explore how design can help to build a better future. Werkraum is an outstanding example for a traditional company that values design and cares about sustainability in manifold ways. It's definitely worth a visit.
